Check my lot

Your choice

Do not sell or share my information

One form. No account, no identity check, no expiry. Fill it in and we stop.

Opt-out request

Give us whichever details we would recognise you by. Email, phone, or both.

What this actually does

We work with one licensed builder per city and we are paid when we introduce a homeowner to them. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act that handoff is asale of personal information, even though no money changes hands for your data itself. Cal. Civ. Code §1798.140(ad) defines sale broadly enough to cover it, and we would rather say so than structure our way around it.

Once this request is in:

  • Your details are never passed to a builder.
  • Any request of yours already sitting in our queue is flagged and stops moving. Recording the opt-out but leaving the record routable would be theatre.
  • If you later submit the lot check form, we tell you the request is still in place rather than quietly overriding it.

What it does not do

  • It does not delete what we hold. That is a separate right — email privacy@example.com and ask for deletion.
  • It does not stop you using the tool. The lot check is free, it never required your name, and it works exactly the same either way. Charging you or degrading the service for opting out would itself be unlawful.
  • It does not reach other companies. If a different ADU site has your details, you will have to tell them separately.

Other ways to ask

Email privacy@example.com, reply STOP to any text, or just say so on the phone. All of them count, and all of them are permanent. We do not require you to use this form.

An authorised agent can submit on your behalf. Email us with proof of authorisation and we will action it the same way.
